Multi-talented Thulebona Mhlanga, she is a writer, Life coach, and a Speaker born and bred at Soweto.
I would describe my lifestyle as a very simple one, focused and goal oriented. I live for gym, making money to make my life and those around me better, to empower myself and those around me. I describe myself as a socioeconomic activist who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those around her and her community. I have a passion for finance, education and fitness, all three drive my life. What I do for a living is two-fold, I am a regulatory and public affair in my day job and I also run my two businesses as a life coach, a writer and sometimes I juggle between being MC and a speaker. I keep routines, creates habits, build and cultivate strong relationships around me. I also spend a lot of time visualizing my future and praying about my goals, that’s how I survive. I served one of the best government department in the country: National Treasury, I was assigned to cover a story at Shanghai in 2018, I established my coaching business during harsh lock-down in 2020. My faith in God, my family, having supporting friends and exercising kept me sane. What I can say to unemployed graduates waiting for manna from heaven is: Firstly, it is to re-frame their mindset to shift from the frustrations of being unemployed to at what talents and opportunities they can opt for to gain experience and create something for themselves. Start a non-profit initiative, volunteer, utilize social media to establish a business and seek a mentor to harness your skill.
