Ontlametse Mbulane, 21 years of age from Mafikeng, Mechanical Engineering student at Taletso Tvet college.
Being a respectful girl came handy when I was falling short, entering for pageants means money; so at times I couldn't afford it,but because of my personality everyone was eager to help. My modelling itinerary had a funny start because I was kinda forced and things turned out positive.
My community backed me up through storms and tribulations and I felt there's a need for me to give back. I initiated a project called "Bring back to the community", which aims at providing girls with pads and ensuring that girl's sanity is taken care of, I mean helping others is one the most therapeutic actions that all of us should partake in.
Moving to the next task, I am working tirelessly together with Department of Home Affairs to aid 16 and above lads and damsels who do not have identity documents to get help. Helping other people is one of the things which makes my life purposeful day-in and day-out. Starting off my modelling itinerary at a young age was never ideal but now it makes sense because I am more confident with who I am.
Highlights of my journey should be me being crowned Miss Bikini Pool party, Miss NetDaa! ambassador, Queen's crown, Miss Socialite 2018, Miss Redibone Secondary, 1st Princess for Miss Glamorous and 2nd Princess for Miss Photogenic SA. Everything success for means a start, it doesn't matter how long it takes, what matters is your persistence and consistency.
My dire wish is work for company where I will learn skills and ideas to develop the organization to the greater good. I want to serve as a role model to those who feel pressed and a mentor to help others to reach their full potential. I met individuals who seek help in terms of modelling and that only motivates me to own modelling agency one day. Modelling inspires me, it gives me confidence; I grew up as a distant and shy person but modelling helped me to overcome that.
